Every ArliaHair order is hand-finished in our atelier and travels worldwide from there. Below, everything you'll want to know before you check out: how soon we ship, how long the journey takes, what happens with duties, and the gifts that ride along on bigger orders. We ship every day of the year — including holidays — so your package keeps moving even when the calendar slows down.
1. At a glance
• In-stock pieces leave our atelier in 1–3 business days; bespoke shades in up to 14 business days; rare ultra-custom requests up to 18 business days.
• Worldwide transit typically lands in 5–10 business days once your parcel is in the courier network.
• Tracking — emailed within 24 hours of dispatch, with signature and care-team support along the way.
• Spend $200+: Premium shipping is on us. Spend $300+: a Paddle Brush Set joins the box. Spend $400+: a Pro Curling Iron joins instead. Each tier earns one gift — gifts do not stack.
• All international duties, taxes, and customs handling fees are paid by the recipient (DDU).
• We ship through every holiday — Christmas, Thanksgiving, Lunar New Year — so your order keeps moving.
2. Where We Ship
We ship from our atelier in China to the United States (incl. AK, HI, PR), Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia, New Zealand, and most of the world via our trusted express partners. If you do not see your country at checkout, write to support@arliahair.com — we will quote the route for you.
3. Processing Time (How Long Until It Ships)
Because every set is hand-finished to order, processing time depends on the shade and method you choose. Three tiers, all communicated up front:
• Atelier-stocked essentials (most popular shades and standard lengths such as 18″–20″) — ship in 1–3 business days.
• Bespoke shades and made-to-order lengths (custom blends, less common colors, longer or shorter cuts) — ship in up to 14 business days, hand-blended just for you.
• Ultra-custom requests (rare combinations, niche specifications) — ship in up to 18 business days. These are quietly the most rewarding orders we make.
• Each order receives an email confirmation with the expected ship-by date so there is no guessing.
4. Shipping Methods & Costs
Because we ship globally from a single atelier, transit times to most regions land in a similar window. We offer two service levels at checkout, with the live rate calculated based on weight and destination. The Premium tier is included free on orders $200+.
• Standard Worldwide (typically 7–10 business days transit) — calculated at checkout. Available to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia, and New Zealand.
• Premium Express (typically 3–6 business days transit) — calculated at checkout, included free on orders $200+.
• Other regions — write to support@arliahair.com for a custom quote and route.
• PO Box, APO, and FPO addresses are accepted on Standard Worldwide only; please allow extended delivery time.
5. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
All international orders are shipped on a Delivered-Duty-Unpaid (DDU) basis. Any import duties, taxes, VAT, or customs handling fees levied by your country are paid by the recipient and are collected by the carrier on or before delivery. We are happy to provide a commercial invoice for your records on request.
6. Tracking & In-Transit Care
You will receive your tracking number within 24 hours of dispatch. If tracking has not updated for 5+ business days, write to us and our care team will open a trace with the carrier on your behalf.
If your tracking shows "delivered" but the parcel is not in hand, please reach out within 7 days so we can support a carrier investigation. Resolutions vary by carrier and incident — we will walk the process with you and share what each step yields.
7. Address Accuracy & Holiday Shipping
Please double-check your shipping address before checkout. Once an order has shipped, address changes sit with the carrier — we will help where we can, but cannot promise the change will succeed.
Holidays are our favorite time to ship. Our atelier runs through Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Lunar New Year, so your order keeps moving even when the rest of the world is at the table.
8. Free-Gift Thresholds (Tier-Specific, Non-Stacking)
Each spend tier comes with one gift, applied automatically at checkout while supplies last. The shipping perk and the gift live separately — and the gifts themselves do not stack:
• Spend $200+: Premium shipping is on us — a shipping benefit, not a gift item.
• Spend $300+: a Paddle Brush Set joins your order as your gift.
• Spend $400+: a Pro Curling Iron joins your order as your gift instead. (One gift per order — orders at this tier receive the Pro Curling Iron, not the Paddle Brush Set.)
